As a business Owner, I understand the importance of customer communication throughout a project. Starr addressed my questions and concerns in a timely manner. Responses were prompt with details that were clear and informative. The team is well informed and go the extra mile at every stage. I would recommend Starr Sewer & Drain unreservedly
Starr’s Master Plumber, Mathew Martinez has a passion for what he does. My Husband & I were very satisfied with the camera inspection performed. Watching the camera roll through 100+ feet of cast iron drain / sewer line delivered the clarity we needed to take the big leap. The project started 2 days late due to rain but was somehow completed on time. I want to express my gratitude, Matthew and his team worked overtime to stay on schedule. If you have cast iron drain lines, I would strongly recommend starting with a simple camera inspection. I give a big “Thumbs-Up” to The Crew.
Before spending money on a sewer line inspection, I thought it would be best to call several plumbing companies to get educated. One call stood out – I spoke to Daniel at Starr Sewer & Drain. Daniel educated me on the process and what I should expect when replacing our sewer line. The job was completed without a hitch. My advice to homeowners, call around to get educated. Ask to speak with a drain line specialist to determine their level of knowledge, communication and transparency. One important take-away, do yourself a favor and hire a plumber that specializes in sewer and drain line repair.

Please note, following excavation it sometimes becomes apparent that drain lines have been compromised under all facilities. In this case, you might have a 2-3 day period without facilities.
Soil will be placed within close proximity of the tunnel access holes.
If there is limited space for soil, soil will be placed in the closest available “lay-down” or staging area. Very often, the best lay-down / staging area is a driveway, please do not leave a car in the garage.
Yes, we charge for inspections. As a service to realtors & home buyers, we reserve one inspection slot per day for expedited inspections. A typical full sewer & drain line replacement takes about 3 weeks. The process involves one week of excavation, one week of plumbing install, one week for City inspection & Engineer review. The process is followed by backfill. Please note, timelines are subject to inclement weather, city inspections, and Engineer inspections.
Our transferable 5 year warranty protects your drain line in the event that it needs future repair. Our warranty applies to the specific areas of your sewer & drain line where repairs were performed.

If your home was built before 1970, it is highly likely you have cast iron drain lines. As a generally accepted principle within the plumbing community, it has been established that cast iron drain lines have a life expectancy of about 50-60 years. If you have cast iron drain lines, it might be time to have your sewer and drain system inspected.
